Data in KAYA is a mixture of guidebook author data and community uploaded information. By default, we do not publish maps and GPS data for areas that do not have a qualified author or moderator in place.

We defer to our authors, moderators, and LCO partners to determine the best way to represent sensitive or closed access in KAYA. We believe knowledge is power, and tend to encourage transparent and clearly communicating said issues to climbers, rather than leaving ambiguity which could lead to further issues.

No! The free version of the KAYA app includes all the features that climbers need to access your gym – from the ability to receive New Set Notifications to logging their climbs, providing feedback and ratings, and uploading beta videos.

KAYA PRO Outdoor and KAYA PRO Perofrmance are optional upgrades that unlock access to our expansive network of digital outdoor climbing guides as well as additional user workout + performance metrics.
