Let’s be straight here, we have a chossy President. He’s the kind of guy that would hang-dog his proj and tweet,
“Onsight. Five stars. No problem for me. Easy peasy. Nobody climbs better than I do.”
He’s the kind of guy that would take your crash pad to another boulder while you were still climbing, and then laugh when you cratered … the kind of guy that would accidentally take you off belay when you needed lowering, and claim it was your fault.
So what to do about the choss? It’s time to say goodbye.
Three months ago we made commitments together to create a more inclusive climbing culture. We pledged to make ourselves aware, to listen and amplify. We promised to do the work and to have the hard conversations.
Today, we ask you all to ensure you are registered to vote and vote as early as you can. We implore you to call on your friends, your family, your colleagues, and your climbing crew, and encourage them to vote too.
Vote like your livelihood depends on it.
